This 4-piece wall art set of birdhouse prints signed by artist Joy Alldredge is a HomCo 1980s release that was discontinued in 1987. The set includes two rectangular and two heart-shaped sturdily framed prints that are enclosed in glass. The frames are made of hard, durable plastic that is fashioned to look like dark wood and the backings are made of sturdy press board that is screwed onto the frame.
If you look closely, each print has a ladybug that has written a different inspirational message in cursive letters (detailed below). All of the birdhouses are surrounded by beautiful white flowers, grapes, and other flora, and there are even a few adorable, chubby little birds perched on their chosen abode.
The two heart-shaped framed prints are of two different birdhouses -- one in blue and yellow and the other in blue and white. The ladybug wrote "love" on the first one and "peace" on the latter. These two wall hangings measure approximately 7.75"H by 7.75"W and nearly 1" deep.
The vertical-hanging rectangular print is of a single birdhouse that is unique to the rest of the birdhouses depicted in this set. The happy little bird perched atop his house is singing to his heart's content (as implied by three musical symbols floating above his head). The ladybug wrote "love" at the bottom left of this scene.
The horizontal-hanging rectangular print depicts four different birdhouses with two birds resting on the largest of the four. The ladybug wrote "happy" near the bottom left of this print. Both rectangular frames measure approximately 21.5"L by 11.5"W and nearly 1" deep.
All four framed prints are in like new condition and will be carefully shipped with bubble wrap, peanuts, and packing paper to ensure they arrive safely. While you can easily find these four pieces sold separately elsewhere, it's rare to find the complete four-piece set.
